Is it possible to measure how deep you can meditate and visualise the date in realtime in a performance?
meditatio is a multi sensory performance by thelaserlars. A wireless EEG is sending data to a computer array with brainwave software. It generates a value, which can show how deep someone can meditate or focus. This data is sent to a generative processing sketch which visualises the data. Another heart rate sensor is collecting realtime data, too. The realtime visualisation in form of circles / lines, which are in chaos at beginning and then sort and build a perfect circle around me, are projected on the floor. I am sitting in the middle and meditate.
